This is a hidden gem. Similar to others, I found it on Yelp. We were in the neighborhood eating another Spanish restaurant so decided to check out the bakery for the empanadas, which my son got hooked on in Mexico.
They were delicious (we had the chicken), especially warm right after they give it to you. We warmed several others at home, which were good but not as amazing as when you ate it on the spot. The Orange color seemed unusual but don't let it deter you.
Thankfully I spoke a little Spanish. The lady who served us spoke really zero English but was very nice and patient. The churros were also excellent. We also tried the bunuelos - round fried dough balls - that were also tasty. Can't wait to go back and try other food from here.
To get a better idea of the menu, you should check out their website. I was disappointed that the bakery did not have names of the food so it was hard to figure out what was what. -

By far the BEST empanadas I have ever eaten!! I would highly recommend coming and checking this place out. We can't wait to come back and indulge in more of your yummy goodness! Keep up the good work.

This place is always busy but I can understand why. The food is fresh and always tasty. I come in from time to time to pick up some goodies. I dont even know what they are properly called so I apologize for that. Its like a meat pie, stuffed to the max with minced chicken meat. And the chilli sauce they give to you on the side is what completes it. Ive had others that have some potato and beef in it too, more potato vs beef but still good. If I go early enough I usually grab some sausages with tostada (i think thats what its called) and some coffee. Their coffee is better than the coffee at other coffee chains. The staff is always courteous and helpful and very fast as like I said they get very busy. I like to try a little bit of everything but I havent had the chance to try any of their desserts yet. That will be the next thing to try when I go back.

A couple of friends and I were at a nearby Chinese restaurant looking for a quick dessert and Google Maps led us here. I have never been more pleased with Google Maps. It was obvious that we had no idea what anything was but the workers realized that and summoned the worker with the best English. So nice! I ended up getting a strawberry jam-filled pastry, my friend got a caramel filled pastry, and my other friend got a piece of flan. There is a $7 minimum to use credit cards but that's besides the point. The prices are very affordable, the food is quite obviously authentic and absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is homey and warm (even if the neighborhood may not seem so during nighttime). There's no question about this bakeries success... they have a steady flow of customers no matter the time of day. In fact, our Lyft driver was talking about how they are open practically all day on every single day of the year (even holidays). People obviously love it here and who am I to disagree. Not that I would ever go against this bakery. I can't wait to come back.
